Tots Pretend is coming to Roundhay!
Our brand new Thursday Tots Pretend group at Oakwood Church will be launching on Thursday 22nd January 2026 at 10.30am!
At Tots Pretend, children explore stories through imaginative play, music, singing, movement and role-play — all designed to build confidence, creativity and social skills in a warm, friendly environment. It’s relaxed, joyful and loved by both children and grown-ups.

Im also a mum of 2 forever pretending children, who were my inspiration for creating Tots Pretend in May 2019!

Little Drama for BIG Imaginations!
Enter the world of Tots Pretend and join us on a wonderful adventure of drama and role play for your preschooler!
Classes are a fun way to develop key skills in your little one such as imagination, confidence, empathy and motor skills among others! Each week we let the children's imaginations explore the world of the adventure, building pretend worlds with our crates, putting the children at the heart of the role play!
Benefits of Creative Play
Learning through role play allows children to develop communication skills and an awareness of themselves and the world around them. By putting themselves in other people’s shoes, this helps to develop empathy, considering what someone else would do.
Children develop their motor skills when exploring movement or becoming another character, capturing their imaginations as we explore new ‘surroundings’ in our pretend world.
